I am very surprised.. everythings great with BF4 all set to ultra.. both single and multi, no lose of frames or anything.. can drop a few settings here and there that are just a waste of CPU/RAM etc.. couple with a few patches from EA then everything should be great. What seems to be generic is lagg and loss of sound and textures online

Now I need fibreoptic interwebs as opposed to 8mbs unstable copper ¬¬

Need to stop reading this thread... Just makes me want a new GPU more than i already did PDT_Armataz_01_07

i felt the same tbh.. my specs were barely in the minimum range let alone recommended.. runs great on ultra.. just wanna get rid of the bells and whistles features BF4 has to keep things pretty yet unnecessary like post in-game filtering and shit.. plus the Gcard patches worked for a change

That is the card the companys tech support advised me to use, a R9 280X.
Just doesnt feel like a big upgrade from my HD 6970, atleast not a £250 worthy upgrade...

Should i just go for it or pony upp the dough for a 290X for £450? Would feel like more of an uppgrade but a big chunk of my wallet gone aswell... No new rims for the beemer then PDT_Armataz_01_16

720W power supply required? Mine is only 650W, so prob would haveto upgrade that aswell.

On high i had 45-55 fps but dipping to under 30 when allot of shit going down.
Running low/medium atm and its +60 fps all the time, round 75-85 most of the time.

If i were in your spot(and since i play on low) i would spend the money elsewhere. Unless you are planning on getting a 120 hz monitor with that gpu the extra fps will be wasted.

I dont want extra fps, im fine with what i have now while on low but i want to play on ultra/high and still get over 60 fps constantly, higher if possible.

If it sorts out the directx errors stopping me from completing SP it would be a nice bonus aswell.
