Ok, so ive got this new HS and have no bloody idea why its not working XD
The sound works great, the mic not at all.
This is the situation with sound. mic and surround (and USB) plugged in, ive disabled everything for now:

Is it a USB headset? Can't see any mention of a headset in there.

just a thought. Have you looked din the device manager? does it have separate software? which HS is it?

Um tried installing official drivers for it? My Logitech's headphones worked but not my mic until I did.

Looking at this milos you laptop dont support 5.1? the plug next to your usb is line in. therefore not an output.

And is that cable plugged into line in pink? that one should be plugged into the mic socket. swap it with the yellow one!
