Hi guys not been on much as I still crash in every game BF4 has stopped working you know the one, I was wondering whats best I allways have an amd cpu but are intel any better ?? was looking at this on ebay would it be ok for the game Asus Crosshair IV Formula Plus AMD Phenom II X6 1045T (4ghz oc)

Something I have never been able to answer myself. I have always had AMD up to my latest build.
I only avoided Intel due to price but I put a lot of money on table for latest. AMD have always served me well and my intel is serving me well now. I spent £400+ I think on this one and I feel it wasn't wasted.
I would let your budget decide

Same as Till, I always had AMD no Intel. Also I think that AMD and ATI cards, since AMD now owns ATI, seems to work far better then few years back

i have always had AMD too. my machine is more than capable of doing the things i ask of it, so why plump for a more expensive CPU. Unless your doing something that's massively CPU intensive its really not gonna make much of a difference. I have a Phenom II 1090T X6 3.2Ghz @4Ghz. I downclock from 4.2Ghz in the summer as my passive watercooling struggles at those voltages (1.545v)
However to answer your question smudgie Intel produce CPU`s that are better for straight up horsepower. just costs a little more...sometime ALOT more.
