So its getting close to rebuild time, should have some cash on Monday
But im 50/50 on X99 5820k or skylake 6700k

Ive experienced the 6600k in the Corsair Carbide Build but id got used to the hex cores of the xeon, both seem very close on gaming benchmarks with skylake just coming out on top
but on multi core tasks the 5820k comes out well in front.

Any got any thoughts ?

My mate just bought a new pc, has the 6700k but he won't have it till Monday. 5820K not be better for you, if it is not purely a gaming rig?

I have now found a 1070 founders card on offer for £368.00 which im planning on getting
but yes mobo and cpu have gone up nerly £50 since i first looked

Shiny came in the post today ..
Ripjaws 4 is the slightly older version but its much much cheaper than the new Ver. 5
more bits should arrive tomorrow PDT_Armataz_01_11

1070 currently rockin it up in the dual core beast for testing before the blck goes on :)

Cool, when will you be up and running fully?

I am not playing BF1 anymore till patch is released, rumoured to be Wednesday. I am suffering Direct x crashes more and more frequently. Not willing to play half hour for a crash to loose all my hard work. I have actually been doing really well and it is shitty softcore.

pretty much running now but been stuck in updating to W10 all day,
found a fix though and it almost done now.

havnt even got bf1 yet so doubt it will be wednesday.
