Hi guys, having problems with my XFire and BF3, whenever I open up BF3, it comes up with a direct X error, which I will attach, when xfire is closed down the problem doesn't happen so it seems to be stemming from that - any help would be appreciated (yes x-fire ingame is disabled)

you have to disable the auto detect for bf3 on xfire i think, it was long ago. but i remember it being an easy thing to fix. :)

Well there are many many peoeple that get this error and dont even have xfire installed so..
even Tillb who bitched about xfire causing this problem for months got it working now.
It seems bf3 just doesnt like random processors running in the back ground..
Try .. xfire / options / games / Battlefield 3 / never detect..
Update .net framework
update graphics drivers
update chipset drivers
turn anti virus off / silent mode
Antialising Deferred to off
HBAO to SSOA
Motion Blur to off
