Now that our bf4 server seems to be in full swing, I was hoping we could start running a few rules, lightly enforced for now then see how it goes.

I was thinking of banning every single explosive aside from hand grenades on the prison map aka metro 2.0.. Constant spam on the chokehold.. Then I thought about it more.. Seeing as generally the bf4 maps seem pretty large and there are various routes, plus this is bf at the end of the day and hardcore is where it's at, so I'm quite up for RPGs on inf.. If u get popped by one then try a different route..

I suppose we should add 'the admin is always right' at least.

Having said that, when is procon ment to be up for bf4? And do we have slot reserves? Are we gonna get the ranking system in? And is the server 60 slot? Any chance we can have max 64 slots?

Also how about e server customisation, like no minimap, no crosshairs, is the server hardcore? I noticed no health regens but still takes quite a few shots to kill like in softcore..

Holy fucker of mothers dude..

BF4 server side is broken to fuck ..

for now its just play..

if the server ever goes more than a day without crashing ill consider wasting more time on it..

BTW NON of the procon plugins work with bf4 yet apart from metabans

No it doesnt mean a discount

as procon has absolutly nothig to do with the GSPs
its a free non profit open source software run by gamers for gamers.

nah i meant from the guys we're using the server from, if it keeps going down then we're not getting the monies worth, which is a breach of contract, unless it states something in the T&Cs

TBH m8 i dont see how they can garentee uptime on a server they have no control over,
BF$ server code is 10 x worse than BF3 ever was .. and thats FACT not my opinion.

For some reason i rubberband/twitch a shitload on our server, first i thought it was the map with the dam, but i have gotten it on several other maps aswell. Pretty much unplayable, switching server helps so not a problem on my end atleast.
And then it ofc crashes a couple of times a day, just love wasting the XP boosts for a scoreless round PDT_Armataz_01_19

Not for me.. Our sever was empty so I was on another.. Near end of round I got promoted etc then the game crashed.. I joined another server and had to continue from previous match end.. Lost promotion and everything..

Anyone know of any server / bf patches that are on the radar..?

Superking, if the server crashed then it would wait until there was another round on the server started up. If it crashed it may need a restart before that happens so you wouldn't have the XP registered on battlelog at the time. You may have got free XP a few days later (even though it wasn't free :P)
